Hi Friends. So this is Justina. She designed my logo and business cards etc. She’s really talented and sweet and lives in a really rad apartment that she calls “the jungalow” – you should go to her BLOG and find photos because it’s really amazing. And apparently she’s been doing a little interior design work for some lucky people, so if you want, you can maybe hire her to jungalow your life a little. (Hey Justina, I just used “jungalow” as a verb … and I liked it.) Also, you can follow her on Pinterest where some of her boards have close to 2 million followers – which is pretty fancy and says something about how good her eye for design is. You can also follow me on Pinterest, where some of my boards have over 2 hundred followers. ;)

I had a great time hanging out, taking these photos, and meeting her husband, Jason. He is also very awesome and creative and persuasive – in all of 5 minutes he talked me into learning to play the piano (my mom will be happy). I’m sure they’re going to have the coolest baby on the block and I for one can’t wait to meet her.

Also, before I go, I’d like to give a shout-out to Justina’s hat. Because it’s the best.

I can’t wait to share this whole shoot with you guys. It’s my amazing, incredibly talented, friend and graphic designer, Justina and her husband and their little “Boomba”! Check out Justina’s blog HERE.

This next shot is the beautiful, delicate, little gold ring that Rodney got me. I love it so much.

These little guys were totally having a birthday party.

Not pictured here was when my parents had 2 giant bouquets of flowers delivered, my wonderful friend Heidi meeting up with Rodney & I for lunch at Sweet Salt and giving me a birthday orchid, mine & Rodney’s Skype date with my parents in NJ, and me and Rodney opening up and reading all the sweet birthday cards that had been arriving all week. Then, later on at night, we met up with my sister and her boyfriend at a restaurant in West Hollywood named Cafe La Boheme. Where we sat next to a big fireplace and we all laughed a lot and had wonderful food and then they surprised me with my very own pretty, little cake. It was a perfect day and filled with people I love more than anything.
